Tax Relief
In Ireland, tax relief is available at 20% on certain qualifying dental expenses.
You cannot claim relief on routine dental expenses like dental exams, fillings and cleaning of teeth.
You can claim tax relief on non-routine dental costs including endodontic treatment but you must obtain a signed Med2 form from your dentist first. This will be arranged once treatment is completed.
Dental Insurance
We are happy to accept and treat patients who are covered by Dental Insurance through VHI, DeCare Dental or Laya Healthcare.
How Does the process work?
- Book your appointment with Kerry Endodontics in Killarney, and mention that you have dental insurance.
- Call your healthcare benefits provider and ask them to confirm your level of cover.
- The healthcare provider will inform our dental clinic of your level of cover and entitlements under your plan.
- You attend the dentist for treatment, after which, you sign a claim form to confirm the treatment was completed.
- If further treatment is required your dentist submits a treatment plan to your healthcare provider for approval.
